Nikunj Lotia aka Be YouNick, the youtube sensation has added another feather in his success hat. Nikunj featured in the new Axe campaign, titled “Ab Teri Baari”, along with Ayushmann Khurana, Naezy, Shashank Arora, Dharmesh, and Sunil Chhetri.

The campaign “Ab Teri Baari” is created in an attempt to demolish the stereotypical notions around a male body, that is supposed to be ‘lean’, ‘tough’, and of course, should not be “emotional”, because being emotional is not a sign of masculinity.

The video was out on June 24, 2019, and has 28M views in just one day. The song is sung by Nazey, the renowned rapper, and Ayushmann Khurana. The entire song is absolutely amazing, for initiatives are being made to attain a society that is free of prejudices and stereotypes against both the genders. The initial lines, in particular, truly set the mood for the song: “Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Logo Ka kaam hai Kehna”. This is what all of us must have heard irrespective of our gender. It seems as if we are never able to meet the set societal standards, no matter how hard we try. So why not, try living by our rules and neglect the ones that society has created. We are any which way failing to please them; let’s try pleasing ourselves for once.

“Get a stable Job”, “six packs are a must”, “why are you so sentimental”, “why don’t you do B-Boying”, are some of the few things that the men have to hear constantly. Axe tries to break these notions by bringing those men together who don’t have a stable career or the one that society approves.
