The synopsis of the movie reads, “Fatafat is a ZEE5 Original, starring Divyendu Sharma, Ishtiyak Khan, and Inderpal Singh. The story revolves around a struggling Call center employee, whose life changes when he stumbles across a local salesman in a bus. Movie premieres, 1st April 2019 only on ZEE5!”
The movie is directed by Parijat Joshi and written by Tarun Dedej.
Earlier in an interview, the actor revealed that he doesn’t do movies only for money. “If I had done that, I would have made lots of money by now. I have said ‘no’ to a number of films in the past. There are producers who tell you on face: ‘Bro, good money!’ I remember a sex comedy was being made, which I won’t name. At that time, I had just entered a phase wherein I had started saying ‘no’ to similar films. So, there were quite a few people who were not happy with me,” Divyendu told Times Now.
“I would tell producers that it had nothing to do with their scripts. Instead, it was my personal decision. Mujhe samajh mein aa Raha hai ki aap achche paise de rahe ho but mere bhi koi kaaran Hain jo main aapki film ko mana kar Raha Hun (I understand that you are giving me good money but I have a reason to turn it down). I swear on God, I have never done a film purely for money. Kabhi Kabhi lagta hai ki kar lena chahiye tha (Sometimes I think that I should have done it),” the actor added.
