'Thugs of Hindostan' is not a glossy film: Zeeshan Ayyub!

The Indian actor Zeeshan Ayyub is gearing for his upcoming movie ‘Thugs Of Hindostan‘ and he says that his movie is not a glossy film. The movie is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and stars Aamir KhanAmitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. The movie “Thugs Of Hindostan” is an adaptation of the 1839 novel ‘Confessions of a Thug’. The movie is slated for a 2018 Diwali release.

Actor Zeeshan is very well known for his role in the 2013 movie Raanjhanaa, where he played the role of ‘Murari’ and he has also played the role of  Arun ‘Chintu’ Kumar Singh in the blockbuster hit movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu 2’. Now, he will be soon be seen in the upcoming movie titled “Thugs of Hindostan” along with the superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. The movie is said to be an action adventure film.

About his upcoming movie, Zeeshan said, “‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is a classic story well said. It is a grand period film. I have tried something completely different in it. I am having absolute fun shooting it. ‘Thugs…’ is not a conventional glossy film, though it is very commercial.” Moreover, he said, “It has a story to tell, it has complexes and plot points like a good classic and still they are trying new things which make the project interesting.”

Zeeshan has worked with all the three Khans, with the movie ‘Raees’ he has worked with Shah Rukh Khan, with the movie ‘Tubelight’ he has worked with Salman Khan and now for in his upcoming ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ he is coming up with Aamir Khan. He says that all the three Khans have a different style of working. Aamir Khan analyse a scene completely in depth he does every scene with a perfection and he will be on that scene until it isn’t right.

On the hand, Salman Khan is totally opposite he does not read the scene more than twice he will read the lines once and then he makes them on his own. He likes to keep it raw so there are chances that the scene might work or might not work.

About Shah Rukh Khan, Zeeshan says he is a “typical theatre actor doing films.” He added, “He will rehearse a scene may be 10 times, will ask you what you’re doing, bring in changes accordingly. Then suddenly when you are doing it, he will be the first person to change it and you are allowed to change too.”

He will also feature in the upcoming movie ‘Sameer’, which is said to be a political drama. He feels that no one from the Bollywood industry would like to talk about the political scenario of the country and when director Dakxin Chabbra narrated him the script he immediately said yes. He says that two and a half year ago he was quite upset with the political scenario of our country and he thought that someone should talk about it but no one from the Bollywood industry wants to get involved into this. On this, he said, “I thought if someone has to do, I should do it. Around the same time, he (Dakxin) came to me and narrated the story. It just clicked and within two minutes I said yes.”
