Yash’s ‘KGF’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ was released on the same day. The competition which started at a deadlock situation, took an unexpected turn and the table turned towards Kannada movie ‘KGF’. Much to everyone’s surprise, the movie is running successfully in non-Kannada region.

The film has already done a business of Rs 150 crore worldwide and only Hindi version of the film has garnered Rs 26.70 crores. Biz analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news from his official twitter handle.

Yash and Srinidhi Shetty starrer ‘KGF‘ crossed Rs 100 crore mark worldwide within a week of its release.

Trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai shared the news on Twitter. He wrote, “#KGF crosses the magic ₹ 100 Cr Gross worldwide Box Office. A real proud moment for Kannada cinema.

The Hindi version of Prashanth Neel’s directorial beat the Bollywood movie ‘Zero’ starring Shah Rukh Khan at the Box Office on its eighth day.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the news on his twitter handle and wrote, “An impossibility, a week ago has happened.. #KGF Hindi has beaten #Zero yesterday… Day 8 – Friday, Dec 28th…”

On the other hand, Shah Rukh’s ambitious project ‘Zero’ soared high only on the first day, since then its numbers are constantly decreasing. It collected Rs 80 lakhs on Monday and Rs 3.90 crores in its second weekend.

‘Zero’s total earning has reached up to Rs 88 crores. And according to the trade pundits, there will hardly be any collections in week three.
