Kynkyny is a design studio and a manufacturing unit, handled by Vivek  Radhakrishnan and his spouse Namrata. It was started in the year 2004, divided into 2 facets – Kynkyny Art and Kynkyny Home.  Kynkyny Art is a gallery for contemporary Indian art whereas Kynkyny Home deals with exclusive home furniture and products.  The philosophy of the studio is that the process of designing and manufacturing should go simultaneously.  A lot of experiment is done with the materials, fabrication techniques, equipment and the designing.

They have the  design studio and production unit under one roof, which makes their movement flexible between the drawing board and the factory floor. It saves their time as well help them to monitor their progress constantly. The quality and design are unique in their own way.  Mr. Vivek has obtained his designing degree from Netherlands and has worked with various designers, thereby displaying the vivid experience through his work. Kynkyny Art has magnificent collections of art, a blend of tradition with creative touch.  Abstract, Landscape, Figurative are some of the styles that the gallery focuses on. There cannot be any event or art exhibition where Kynkyny is not talked about. It also hosts many events in the city to fulfill the needs of the art lovers and who yearns for unique collections.

Kynkyny Art presents ‘50 under 50‘ which is a group show, featuring fifty works of art across various different styles and media. The artists include Amaresh Bijjal, Bakula Nayak, Basuki Dasgupta, Bharat Das, Chandan Chowdhury, Doddamani, Dhananjaya, Dhrubajyoti Baral, Elayaraja, G. Subramanian, Ganapati Hegde, H.R.Das, J.M.S. Mani, Jasu Rawal, Jayanta Mukherjee, Krishnappa, Lokesh, Naina Maithani, Praveen Kumar, Rajesh, S.M.Lohar, Samir Saha, Santhana Krishnan, Sivabalan, Shankar Kendale and Tarun Banerjee
