Eximius, the annual entrepreneurship summit of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is to be held on August 4 and 5. The summit will be jointly organized by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell and N.S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning. According to a statement from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, Eximius is the biggest B-school entrepreneurship summit of the country. It is conducted by the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Cell in association with NSRCEL, India’s 3rd largest incubator.

The aim of the summit is to bring together the best students, investors and leaders across the country to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship. The event ranges from competitions to business plans, workshops, panel discussions and speaker discussions. Earlier, in the past, Eximius included speakers like the former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Infosys Founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan and many more.

2018 will be the 11th edition of the summit. The summit has grown exponentially with an expected football of 22k + from 1000+, 400+ colleges and 350 + corporate, said the IIMB statement.

This year, the 2018 summit will be hosting some famous icons from the industries which includes Mr Parth Jindal (MD, JSW Cements), Mr Ananth Narayanan (CEO Myntra and Jabong), Mr Yashish Dahiya (Founder CEO, Policy Bazar), and Mr Deepak Ohri (CEO, Lebua Hotels), the youngest CEOs Ms. Ira Singhal (AIR 1; UPSC 2014) and many more. This year, Eximius is also organizing Young Leaders Consortium and Women Leaders Consortium, hosting founders and CEOs of CommonFloor, InsideIIM, GRadeDontMatter, HackerEarth etc.

They are flagship events at Eximius which includes- Bzzwings, The Game of Clicks, Wipro Earthian Sustainability Quiz , Pitcher Perfect. The summit will also have workshops on Fundraising for early entrepreneurs, M.O.M. marketing workshop, Art-O-Preneurship – workshop on off-the-wall business ideas, Unstoppable –workshop for women entrepreneurs, Leap – workshop on startup success, QUEst – workshop by the transgender community.
