Krav Maga is a Self-defense system developed for the military in Israel, consisting of various techniques such as boxing, Savate, Muay Thai, Wing Chun, Judo, wrestling, grappling and many other techniques. Krav Maga is known for its focus on real-world situations and efficient powerful counter-attacks. It is used by Israeli Defense forces to safeguard their country. Krav Mga is a horizontal sysem with a unique approach. It is easy to learn and perform. The teaching ways, methodology and training are the most important part of Krav Maga. There are many institutes that cater to Krav Maga. Badazz Combat Academy is one such academy in Bangalore, which teaches the variations in Krav Maga. Krav Maga was first introduced to India by Vicky Kapoor in 2004.
Badazz Combat Academy was started in the year 2007 by Guru Franklin Joseph who believed in fighting, never giving up and withstanding stress and setbacks. He is a specialist in Women Safety, Psychological empowerment and Self-defense techniques. He focuses on Israeli Self Defense, Ninja Kubaton, Knife Fighting and Collapsible Baton which are the major fighting techniques. He is an internationally certified Senior Civilian Maga Self Defense Instructor (2003 batch) and was the Regional Director of the IKMF-International Krav Maga Federation at Bangalore. Mr. Franklin has assisted various civilian combat workshops and Self Defense / Combat Training projects with Police, VIP Protection Units and Military Special Forces.
