Pro Planet people must visit ‘Mission LiFE’ Pavilion set up at ‘Bharat Parv’ between 26-31 January

In order to commemorate the 74th Republic Day, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change will set up a pavilion at “Bharat Parv,” an event being hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, under the subject “Mission LiFE,” from January 26 to January 31, 2023 at Red Fort in New Delhi.

The Bharat Parv, organised by the Ministry of Tourism. From January 26 to January 31st, 2023, a five-day festival will take place in the Red Fort grounds and Gyan Path. Visitors will be witness to various cultural events highlighting the country’s cuisines, arts, crafts, and dances.

PM Modi launched Mission LiFE in October 2022, with the message that Mission LiFE makes the fight against climate change democratic and that each one of us can contribute as per their respective capabilities. The theme of Mission LiFE has been chosen to sensitise and educate the masses on LiFE actions which can promote sustainable living and help tackle climate change.

Through a variety of interactive media platforms, such an LED screen, a motion sensor wall, an interactive wall, a live AT wall, the LiFE actions embodied in Mission LiFE are displayed.

The pavilion on Mission LiFE encourages people to be Pro Plant, reads a Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change press release. A questionnaire tailored to everyday actions will be asked on a motion sensor-enabled interactive wall, and the responses will inspire users to be Pro Planet.

Visitors will learn from the interactive touch wall about the different daily actions that they may do to significantly alter the environment. The mural will depict a day in the life of an Indian at work, at home, and in public.

A Live AR Wall is where the visitors can meet and click selfie with Prakriti– the mascot of the Ministry. The visitors can receive the picture via email or WhatsApp in real-time. Several videos based on the themes of Mission LiFE will be shown on an LED screen. The digital paintings created by schoolchildren for Mission LIFE will be displayed on the plasma screen alongside digital booklets about sustainable practices.

The pavilion will remain open for the general public from 5pm to 9pm on 26th January 2023 and from 12pm to 10pm on 27th January to 31st  January 2023.
