It invites the plays from India and abroad, thus giving the theatre lovers an opportunity to witness the various forms of live performances. It has the philosophy of A play a day which indicates that they always have a play running in their premises. They organize more than 300 plays yearly from various production houses and in various languages – English & Kannada ruling the language chart. They cater to all the segments of the society – children to the old aged considering various themes that would make the audience connected to the story.  They host the Theatre festival every year bringing the best of the Theatre world.

I have witnessed the queue during these fests and I must admit the response it gets. I have also been a part of the Theatre world, Ranga Shankara being my favorite due to its quality, comfort and services. The ticket prices are very economical ranging from Rs. 80 to Rs. 300. The canteen facilities also give you a rich feel of the food of Bangalore. The coffee and vada are a must for your taste buds.
