The University of Delhi is preparing to organise a Job Mela (Placement cum Internship fair). This Job Mela is being organised by Delhi University’s Central Placement Cell (CPC), under the aegis of the office of Dean, Students’ Welfare, University of Delhi.

It will be first of its kind in the illustrious history of our prestigious University and instrumental in enabling the eligible students with suitable jobs/placement and internship opportunities with the support and participation of esteemed companies.

The job fair is scheduled from April 7 to April 9, 2022. It will be arranged in a blended mode and will aim to provide internship opportunities for first and second year students of several undergraduate courses and recruitment for the final year undergraduate and post-graduate students in the university. This will provide opportunities for students of Science (Physical, Life and Applied Science), Commerce, Mathematical Science, Social Sciences courses.

“The vision of the CPC is to provide a continuum of opportunities to the under-graduates and post-graduates studying across various courses of Science (Physical, Life and Applied Science), Commerce, Mathematical Science, Social Sciences etc,” the official notification from the University of Delhi read.

Several NGOs, research organisations and government sectors have also been invited by the University of Delhi to participate in this job fair.

The students’ pool extends to approximately 80 colleges and an equal number of post-graduate departments of the university with more than 18,000 students registered on the placement portal as on date. Further details about the same can be gathered by mailing at [email protected].

The CPC registration fees of 10,000 INR will be waived off for companies opting to participate in the Job Mela via online mode. On the other hand, for companies wishing to participate by visiting campus (offline mode), a sum of 10,000 INR will be charged.

A registration form will be shared with companies after receiving a line of confirmation for the same from companies’ end.
