vishal-shekhar

Vishal and Shekhar, one of the best duos of the music industry is all set to cheer the music lovers of Namma Bengaluru where the rich taste of music flows. The crowd had been a wonderful audience in the past. Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have worked in Hindi, Telugu and Marathi films, giving the hits one after the other. Their works include Jhankaar beats, Dus, Bluffmaster, Om Shanti Om, Ra One, Chennai express and lots more, leaving the crowd go gaga with their musical sequence. They won the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent for Jhankar beats, for the song “Tu hai aashiqui”, which is still so refreshing and the visuals are flashing in front of my eyes with the very thought of the lyrics.

Shekhar Ravjiani is a trained classical singer (under Ustad Niaz Ahmed Khan). He learned to play the accordion from his father, a music enthusiast, Hasmukh Ravjiani.  Shekhar was a participant of Zee TV singing contest Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1997.  He composed and sung Marathi songs ‘Saazni’ in 2012 and ‘Saavli’ (with Sunidhi Chauhan) in 2013. Vishal Dadlani is a great music composer and is also the vocalist of Mumbai-based electronic band Pentagram.  He collaborated with Imogen Heap on the song ‘Minds without Fear’ for an episode of ‘ The Dewarists.’

The Vishal-Shekhar music concert will also feature the best of DJs,  playing the best of Bollywood tunes along with the variety of cuisines and beverages, lights and sounds to make the evening the most memorable one.
