Bottega Veneta, the Italian luxury goods brand has become one of the most influential fashion houses as it bagged four prestigious titles at The Fashion Awards on Monday. From Designer of the Year, British Designer of the Year—Womenswear, British Designer of the Year—Accessories, to Brand of the Year, creative director Daniel Lee and the brand Bottega Veneta won it all.

After Lee took over as the creative director last year, the brand escalated in terms of desirability in the fashion market. According to fashion search platform Lyst, based on the data of social mentions, tags, searches and sales, Bottega Veneta’s stretch sandals tracked a 471 percent spike in searches in the month of July and pouch bag tracked more than 10,000 searches a month on Lyst. Introduced under Lee, both the products were world’s most wanted products of 2019.

Besides Lee, several other celebrities and popular names won big last night. To name a few, English model Naomi Campbell was honoured with the Fashion Icon award while Adut Akech won Model of the Year. Singer Rihanna’s Fenty label bagged the Urban Luxe award and Dior’s Kim Jones was named British Designer of the Year – Menswear.
