On 28th February 2015, Bengaluru experienced the first ever bike-a-thon to celebrate the independent woman. The Jealous 21 Butt Out Brigade was a superlative event led by the dynamic Bikernis – the female group of bike riders in association with Jealous 21. Over 30 Bikernis gathered at Jealous 21 CMH store in Indiranagar, Bengaluru to make this rally happen on account of the upcoming International Women’s Day. The flag went off at 11 a.m and the bikernis went vrrooom vroom..!!
Butt out Brigade’s sole intention is to break the hackneyed saying of ‘’being a biker as a ‘guy’ thing”. Their route involved many parts of the city where they rode with pride spreading the message of women independence. Bikernis are a perfect example of today’s striking, valiant and gleeful women.
