Raymond, one of the most known Indian brand in textile and apparel industry, has partnered with KVIC to sell re-branded khadi clothes globally. Raymond has launched a new brand line, Khadi by Raymond under the partnership and it plans to market the fabric globally.

In a statement, Raymond said that KVIC (Khadi Village & Industries Commission) has provided their consent which allows the company to rebrand and sell the khadi products for a period of 5 years. Also, under this partnership, Raymond will be allowed to form partnerships with marketing agencies for a better marketing and sales of the products.

The new label, once it is launched in August 2017, will be available in KVIC outlets, Raymond Shops and leading eCommerce websites.

Speaking on the development, Gautam Hari Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director – Raymond stated that with the quality of KVIC and brand name of Raymond, the partnership will help reposition khadi fabric as a preferred choice for the youth and other age groups alike.
