Bangalore has very often been related to ‘Rock n Roll’ music genre from the beginning of the 21st century due to urbanization and a broadened outlook of the Bangalore crowd. People have also had a great change in their ‘musical’ taste from the classical carnatic tunes and the Indian Bollywood songs to different genres like Rock, Metal and Electro-Dance Music. But there is one place in Bangalore which can be considered to be the ‘Fortress of Rock music’ which is Hard Rock Cafe.

Found in the heart of this thriving metropolitan city at the intersection of M.G. Road and St. Marks Road, Hard Rock Cafe is more like a Irish Pub as the place serves its famed beers and offers a lot of entertainment through their astonishing music collection. The cafe solicit donations of music memorabilia but also purchase a number of items at auctions around the world, including autographed guitars, costumes from world tours and rare photographs; these are often to be found mounted on cafe walls.

The place provides a huge variety of drinks and foods and these are all well appreciated for its reasonable prices and obviously its palatable servings. Hard Rock Cafe also holds Live-Shows for its guests quite regularly. This way, many promising bands have the chance for their ‘Shot to Fame’.

Though Hard Rock Cafe, Bangalore was established in 2007,  it is housed in a classic building, built in 1912, the structure itself, with its high roof and stone walls is as symbolic as the memorabilia within. All of all, its unlike any other pub in the city and a definite “must visit” for a music lover as we got to agree, Bangalore is synchronized with music forever!
