Acer has launched the next generation of its gaming laptop series- Acer Nitro 5 in India. The laptop is powered by the latest 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake CPU and features a Full-HD display with a high refresh rate and ships with fast charging support. It comes with Acer’s CoolBoost technology.
Acer Nitro 5 Specifications
Acer Nitro 5 is powered by an 11th-Generation Intel Core i5-11300H quad-core processor, clocked at a speed of 4.4GHz. The processor is accompanied by Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU with 4GB GDDR6 RAM. The laptop is offered with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, which can be expanded up to 32GB, and 512GB PCIe Gen3 SSD storage. The storage can be expanded up to 2TB via external HDD. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home OS.
Coming to the display, it sports a 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display has a peak brightness of 300 nits and a response time of 3ms.
The laptop carries a 57.6WHr battery with 135W fast charging. As per the company, the laptop can last up to 8.5 hours with a single full charge. For cooling, it uses Acer’s CoolBoost technology that incorporates dual-fans on the inside and a quad exhaust port, which is designed in such a way that it maintains the temperature of the laptop low to get optimum performance.
It comes with a backlit keyboard with four-zone RGB lighting and a 720p webcam for live streams. The laptop has a touch pad that supports multi-touch gestures. Connectivity options include Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650i, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI port, RJ45 ethernet, a 3.5mm headphone and mic combo, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port.
As for the pricing, the Acer Nitro 5 is priced at ₹69,990 ($932) for the sole Intel Core i5+ 8GB RAM + 512GB SSD configuration and black color finish in India. It will be available via Amazon and Acer’s official website.
It will rival HP Pavilion Gaming, which is powered by a 10th-Gen Intel Core i5 processor, coupled with NVIDIA GTX 1650 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD, priced at Rs. 69,990 in India.
