Amazfit has recently launched a new fitness tracker which looks almost same like the Mi Band 5. The Amazfit Band 5 has been officially announced in US and has an SpO2 monitor. It costs around $45 which translates to around Rs.3,400. It would go on sale from 21st September. Amazfit has not yet announced anything about its availability in other markets. It would be released in three colour variants – black, orange and green. The Amazfit Band 5 has a 1.1-inch AMOLED touch display with around 45 watch faces.

The band supports customizable watch faces with photos. It has an SpO2 monitor which can measure blood-oxygen levels. It also has the ability to track women’s menstrual cycles and ovulation periods. The band supports 11 sports modes starting from indoor and outdoor cycling, swimming, skipping and more. It can monitor the heart rate 24/7 and alerts when the heart rate is high. It also offers sleep monitoring and stress monitoring.

The Amazfit Band 5 is equipped with Amazon Alexa for voice assistant support which can be used to set reminders, control smart devices and ask questions. The band has a 5 ATM for water resistance. It has a 125mAh battery that can provide 15 days of battery life on normal usage and 25 days on power saving mode.
