Apple has acknowledged the problems being faced by the users of AirPods Pro and has promised to replace them.

Apple said in their support page that they have determined a small percentage of AirPods Pro might experience sound problems.

AirPods Pro that are having confirmed problems will get replaced and defective units were manufactured before October 2020.

Users of AirPods Pro that are defective might find crackling or static sounds that increase in loud environments with exercise and while taking a phone.

Active Noise Cancellation may fail to function properly. In such situations, users might experience loss in bass sound and increase in background noise.

Users can service the faulty AirPods Pro at the authorized service providers of Apple, Apple retail stores or contact Apple support.

The defective pieces will be checked before any service according to Apple. Apple or authorized service providers of Apple would service the affected AirPods Pro- left, right or both, free of charge or replace the ones with confirmed problems.

The company confirmed that AirPods Pro cases would not get replaced and other AirPod Pro model would not be a part of this replacement programme.

The programme is now available worldwide and it would cover affected AirPods Pro for 2 years after the first retail sale of the unit.

It does not increase the standard warranty coverage of AirPods Pro.

Previously, iPhone maker has also acknowledged and addressed problems with the Magsafe technology in iPads after getting complaints from users.
