5 out of the top 10 most sold phones are by Apple this year. They have dominated the sales chart this year.
According to the reports of Omdia, here is the list of 10 best selling smartphones across the globe in H1 2020

A closer look at Apple devices:
As you can see, 5 Apple handsets, 4 by Redmi, and only 1 Samsung device in the top 10. Redmi is the best when it comes to lower budget or mid-range phones. Given the cost of Apple, it is a huge success to feature 5 phones in the top 10. This list is worldwide sell and not only India, hence the numbers of Apple has surpassed Redmi and Samsung. Not a single one plus device in there.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro: A total of 6.7 million units of iPhone 11 Pro were sold in H1 2020.
Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max: A total of 7.7 million units of iPhone 11 Pro Max were sold worldwide.
Apple iPhone XR: A total of 8 million units of iPhone XR have been sold worldwide. This phone is on the top 10 list since 2018.
Apple iPhone SE(2020): This phone had to be in the top 5. It was one of the best launches of 2020 and it will continue to be in the top 10 list for the next two years at least according to me. A total of 8.7 million units have been sold till now.
Apple iPhone 11: A total of 37.7 million units of iPhone 11 were shipped across the globe making it the highest-selling smartphone. Samsung Galaxy A51 which is second on the list sold just 11 million units. So three times the sale.
