Launch of new iPhone 11 series via Apple has revised the pricing of its older generation iPhone models in India.
The Apple iPhone 11, Apple iPhone 11 Pro, Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max on are launched September 10. The new Apple iPhone 11 will be available in India from September 27 in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models, starting at ₹64,900. Apple iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be priced at ₹99,900 and ₹109,900, respectively.
iPhone XR Popularity in India
According to Upasana Joshi, Associate Research Manager, Client Devices, IDC India:
iPhone XR alone contributed more than 55 percent of total Apple shipments in the second quarter.
According to Navkendar Singh, Research Director, IDC India:
Although iPhone 11 is cheaper than the launch price of iPhone XR, the price of iPhone 11 at Rs. 64,900 still remains high for a market like India.
