The new Apple MacBook Air with M1 chip is revolutionary and its good that it can challenge a lot of MacBook Pros even without having a dedicated fan inside it. This also makes it more desirable than before starting at a price of $999 for 256GB SSD version.

Apple is always kind to offer a student discount for Education and the 256GB version starts at $899. Now, secretly, the company has listed a new 128GB SSD model for MacBook Air on its site and it has been spotted by 9to5Mac.

Initially found at Apple Store for Education, it has been priced at $799 which makes it $100 cheaper and makes sense to those who are looking to purchase a cheaper MacBook. Still, this model is not available in the higher education store aimed for students.

In these difficult times, Apple seems to provide an entry-level MacBook Air which is the cheapest offering ever for schools and it is not for retail. It makes those who don’t need much storage and they can always use an external disk to store their staff as well.

It comes in three colours -Silver, Space Gray and Gold and the revolutionary M1 chip but with a 7-core GPU. It also looks like Apple will provide this variant and others, mainly for educational institutions, who look to buy from them in bulk and the saving really matter a lot in that time.
