Apple iPhone

Apple has been rumored from the supply chain to be working on a new iPhone with a 4.7-inch screen, A13 chip, 128GB of storage, which will release in March 2020. According to rumors, this new iPhone will cost $650 (roughly ₹45,00).

Judging by the display size, it will likely be the reshelled version of iPhone 8 and given its purported March release, the new iPhone would likely be the successor to iPhone SE.

Apple is expected to launch three iPhones in 2019: iPhone Xl, iPhone Xl max with OLED panels and triple rear cameras and an iPhone XR successor which will likely retain the LCD panel and gain dual rear cameras. The lenses on the flagship iPhones are said to be ultra-wide, regular and telephoto, whereas the camera on the iPhone XR successor would feature regular lens coupled with either telephoto or ultra-wide lens.

There have also been rumors that Apple is working on releasing iPhone 8/SE successor in March, similar to what the company did in 2016–where iPhone SE was launched alongside iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in 2015.

Earlier, there have been reports claiming that Apple will be announcing three new iPhones in 2020 with new screen sizes and OLED panels on all three, according to a report from industry insiders.

The screen sizes will range from reasonably compact 5.42-inch through a 6.06-inch and all the way up to 6.67-inch for the Max model.

The 5.42-inch smaller model will likely replace the current 4.7-inch iPhone 8, the 6.06-inch model is expected to replace the 5.8-inch iPhone XS and the 6.67-inch will replace the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max. If the report is to be taken as a credible source, it could be expected that the 2020 iPhones will not necessarily be larger but will have larger screens in the same form factor. Apple will be achieving this by minimizing the bezels on the phone.

Notably, 2018 was the iPhone’s “S” year and the new iPhone 11 is expected to be revealed in 2019, which means Apple might overhaul iPhone design in 2020, which would normally be an “S” year.
