Asus ZenBook 13

Asus has launched the ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, and ZenBook 15 in India. The company originally showcased the laptops at IFA 2018 conference in Berlin last year and now, after three months, Asus is bringing these laptops to India. With the ZenBook laptops, Asus has focused on lightness and portability without sacrificing the performance capabilities. The Zenbooks fall in the premium segment of laptops with the likes of Apple, HP, Dell, and Lenovo.

Asus ZenBook 13

With the launch of ZenBook 13, Asus has officially registered its name in the list of most compact laptop manufacturers. The ZenBook 13 features a four-sided frameless design with NanoEdge displays and minimal bezels. Asus claims the Zenbook 13 has a screen to body ratio of 95 percent which is higher than Dell XPS 13. The laptop weighs around 1.09Kg while keeping the webcam on the top edge of the display.

Getting into the specifications, ZenBook 13 features a 13.3-inch Full HD NanoEdge display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display has a 178-degree wide field of view and supports 72 percent NTSC color gamut. The laptop comes with 8GB of RAM 256GB or 512GB PCIe SSD storage and 2GB of GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics. The laptop comes in two variants in terms of the processor: Core i5-8265U processor or Core i7-8565U processor.

The laptop comes with one USB 3.1 Type-C port, one USB Type-A port, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, microSD card slot and audio combo jack. It also features dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and supports Windows Hello with 3D IR HD camera. The ZenBook laptops come with  NumberPad design, where the number pad is displayed on top of the trackpad, making the ZenBook first laptop series from Asus to sport the feature.

The laptop is said to last 14 hours on a single charge and comes with 65W power adapter.

The price for the base model of the ZenBook 13 is set at ₹71,990. The laptop is available in blue and silver colors.

Asus ZenBook 14

The ZenBook 14 from Asus is basically a 14-inch laptop packed into the chassis of a 13-inch model. Featuring a 14-inch Full HD display with four-sided NanoEdge display design and supports 178-degree wide viewing angle, the ZenBook 14 comes with an option of either Intel Core i5-8265U processor or Core i7-8565U processor. The device has 8GB of RAM coupled with 256GB or 512Gb of SSD storage.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop comes with support for WiFi, Bluetooth and comes equipped with one USB 3.1 Type-C port, one USB Type-A port, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, microSD card slot and audio combo jack like its smaller sibling. The laptop weighs 1.9Kgs and include Asus SonicMaster audio system, number pad design, a 50Wh battery in the slim chassis. The battery on ZenBook is said to be lasting up to 13 hours on a single charge.

ZenBook 14’s starting price is worth ₹72,990 and goes all the way up to ₹1,00,990.

Asus ZenBook 15

The ZenBook 15 from Asus is the largest device in the ZenBook line-up. The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels compromising of minimal bezels at the sides, like its other siblings. ZenBook 15 comes with 16GB of RAM coupled with 1TB SSD storage, Intel Core i7-8565U processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 memory.

In terms of connectivity the laptop, like its siblings, comes with one USB 3.1 Type-C port, one USB Type-A port, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI, SD card slot and audio combo jack. The laptop runs Windows 10 Home Edition with support for Windows Hello facial recognition. The ZenBook 15 also features Asus SonicMaster stereo audio system and can last up to 17 hours on a single charge.

The ZenBook 15 is priced at ₹1,39,990 and is available in blue and silver color options.
