The latest gaming smartphone from Asus, ROG Phone 3 is getting a new variant of 12GB RAM + 128GB storage that would be launched at Flipkart’s Big Billion Days starting from 16th October. This new variant has been priced at Rs.52,999 and this has also decreased the price of a 12GB RAM Asus ROG Phone 3.

The ROG Phone 3 with 12GB RAM was originally available with the storage option of 256GB priced at Rs.57,999. The base variant of this smartphone has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity priced at Rs.49,999.

The 12GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Asus ROG Phone 3 would go for sale from 16th October for regular customers and 15th October for Flipkart Plus subscribers at Flipkart Big  Billion Days Sale. The Asus ROG Phone 3 was launched as a successor to ROG Phone 2 in the month of July this year.

The phone has a 6.59-inch full HD+ display with HDR10+ support and 144Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC with Adreno 650 graphics. The phone has Asus propriety ‘Air Triggers’ that can emulate the functionality of the game controller.

Additional features include 5G support, dual band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and triple rear camera. The rear camera has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary shooter, 13-megapixel ultra wide camera and 5-megapixel macro camera. There is a single 24-megapixel shooter in the front.

Asus ROG Phone 3 has a 6,000-mAh battery with support for Qualcomm QC 4.0 fast charging. Unfortunately the phone misses out the wireless charging despite the flagship traits.
