ASUS has launched VivoBook Pro 14 in China with improvements in both hardware and software front. The 2021 VivoBook Pro 14 comes with a 90Hz OLED display with slimmer bezels as compared to the previous generation. On the software front, the laptop features AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs. ASUS updated the Ryzen-powered VivoBook laptops in India earlier this year.

ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 (2021) Specifications

ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 draws power from either an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H CPU or an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU, coupled with AMD Radeon GPU. The processor is backed by 16GB LPDDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and 512GB PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe M.2 SSD internal storage. There is no option for an external dedicated GPU. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home.

Coming to the display, the laptop sports a 14-inch OLED HDR display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has an aspect ratio of 16:10, 600 nits of peak brightness, and 100-percent coverage of DCI-P3 Color Gamut. It has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and has thin bezels on the edges. The laptop is intended for professionals with color-sensitive work.

The laptop packs a 50WHr battery. It ships with a webcam, which comes with a physical privacy shutter, for video conferencing and Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers. The fingerprint scanner is embossed upon the power button. The size of the touch-pad offered in the 2021 model has also increased as compared to previous generations.

Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port, an HDMI 1.4 port, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio/mic combo jack are on offer. It weighs 1.35kg.

ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 Price

ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 is offered in single Mechanical Silver shade. It is priced at CNY 4,599 (Rs. 52,500) for the R5-5600H CPU + 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration and the R7-5800H CPU + 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model costs CNY 4,999 (Rs. 57,100) in China.

The laptop is already up for pre-booking and will be for grabs from May 11. Details regarding the international availability of the laptop are yet to be revealed by ASUS.
