An Asus device has recently been spotted on Geekbench, which is alleged to be Asus Zenfone 8 Mini. The listing revealed key specifications of the device. In addition to this, an Asus smartphone with the same model number was listed on the TUV SUD certification website.

Asus Zenfone 8 Mini Geekbench Listing

An Asus smartphone, with model number ASUS_I006D, was spotted on Geekbench, a benchmarking website. The device is claimed to be Asus Zenfone 8 Mini. The phone managed to score 1,123 points in the single-core performance and 3,681 points in the multi-core performance test.

As per the listing, the device is powered by a processor named “Lahaina”. The source code revealed that the processor is clocked at 2.84GHz frequency and is coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. The only processor to carry this configuration is Snapdragon 888. This confirms that Asus Zenfone 8 Mini will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is also confirmed that the device will be available in a 16GB RAM variant. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box.

Asus Zenfone 8 Mini Spotted on TUV SUD

In addition to the Geekbench listing, the smartphone was also spotted on the TUV SUD certification website. A tipster, who goes by the name Sudhanshu, took to his Twitter account and shared the listing.

The listing revealed that the Asus smartphone with model number ASUS_I006D will feature 30W fast-charging support. The smartphone is alleged to be Zenfone 8 Mini.

Asus Zenfone 8 Mini “SAKE” Expected Specifications

Last month, a report suggested that an Asus smartphone with codename “SAKE” was spotted in the kernel source code of Asus ROG Phone 5. Later on, specifications of the smartphone also surfaced online. The smartphone was claimed to be powered by top-end Snapdragon 888 SoC, which is in line with the Geekbench listing. The device is referred to as “Mini” because of the smaller form factor and is expected to feature a 5.92-inch Samsung Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

ASUS ZenFone Flip Camera Module

The device is also expected to feature the flip-camera module that has been the trademark of Asus Zenfone series smartphones. Another device with the codename “SAKE_PLUS” was also spotted, however, it is not clear whether the device belongs to the Zenfone 8 series or not. Zenfone 8 series also comprises Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Pro.

The smartphone being spotted on several platforms confirms that the official launch is around the corner. It is expected to launch next month, however, the firm is yet to reveal an official date.
