Asus, on Friday, has announced a price drop on two of its most popular entry-level smartphones: the ZenFone Max M1 and ZenFone Lite L1. The Zenfone Max M1 is available at ₹6,999, down from its original price of ₹7,499. The Zenfone Lite L1, on the other hand, has received a price cut of ₹1000, making the device available at ₹4,999.

Recently, we had reduced the prices of some of our most popular Zenfones and now we offer you the most sought-after, entry-level smartphones, the ZenFone Lite (L1) and the ZenFone Max (M1) at exciting new prices to provide the best in class experience in smartphones to our fans.”
In terms of specifications, the Zenfone Max M1 comes with 5.45-inch full view display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The storage on the device is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo with ZenUI on top and is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery. In the imaging department, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as support for face unlock.
The Zenfone Lite L1, meanwhile, comes with a 5.45-inch display with HD+ resolution. It is powered by the same processor as the Zenfone Max M1 and comes with the configuration of 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo with ZenUI on top and is backed up by a 3,000mAH battery. In the imaging department, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with a selfie flash.
ZenFone Lite L1 features face-unlock capabilities for easy hands-free unlocking. It also includes two SIM slots and a microSD card slot for adding up to 256GB of extra storage.
