Fitbit Charge 3 produced by fitness brand maker Fitbit has finally been launched in the Indian market. The company had announced its fitness band Charge 3 and Charge 3 special edition in July 2018. Not unlike the previous Fitbit trackers, the Charge 3 and Charge 3 special edition is listed to be ₹ 13999 and ₹ 15999 respectively.
Fitbit has made the Charge 3 available from 1st January across all the major retailers both offline and online.
The Fitbit Charge 3 comes with several upgrades over its predecessor including an advanced touchscreen display, swim tracking, sleep tracking and more. The new tracker sports an aluminum body and comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
In terms of design, Fitbit Charge 3 comes in black with a blue-gray and rose gold aluminum cases. The design also incorporates 24*7 heart rate tracking, fitness and sleep tracking, calorie tracking, real-time pace and distance, and smartphone notification support. As far as the protection is concerned, the Charge 3 is swim proof and comes with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the touch panel. The Charge 3 can last up to 7 days on a single charge, according to Fitbit.
Fitbit claims Charge 3 to be its most advanced fitness tracker yet. The tracker features 15+ exercise mode including running, biking, swimming, yoga, and circuit training. Charge 3 automatically recognizes such exercise and records them on the Fitbit app. The display on Charge 3 is also claimed to be 40% brighter than Charge 2.
With Charge 3, Fitbit introduces a new feature called spO2 sensor for the first time in its tracker. This new feature has the ability to estimate changes in blood oxygen levels and helps track new health indicators.
Accessories for the Charge 3 will also go on sale alongside the tracker itself. The classic band, the woven band, and the leather band have been priced ₹2,990, ₹3,490 and ₹4,490 respectively.
