Fitbit Versa Lite smartwatch and Fitbit Inspire fitness trackers have been launched in India. Fitbit unveiled the Versa Lite and Inspire fitness tracker globally last month and on Wednesday the company announced the launch of the wearables in India. The Fitbit Inspire tracker will be made available in two variants–Inspire and Inspire HR. The company also noted that it will be bringing kid-focused Ace 2 activity tracker to the country later this year.

Fitbit has launched the Fitbit Versa Lite, which is the company’s most affordable smartwatch yet, at a price tag of ₹15,999 in India. The smartwatch is already up for sale in the country in White, Lilac, Mulberry, Marina Blue, and Charcoal color options. The Fitness Inspire and Fitbit Inspire HR trackers, on the other hand, are priced at ₹6,999 and ₹8,999 respectively. The Fitbit Inspire is available in Black and Sangria color options while the Fitbit Inspire HR is available in Black, Lilac, and two-tone Black and White colors. Like Fitbit Versa, both the Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR trackers are available for purchase in the country.

The new Fitbit wearables can be purchased through Flipkart, Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Helios websites as well as select brick-and-mortar stores.

Fitbit is also expected to launch the Fitbit Ace 2 tracker in India later this year, at a price tag of ₹6,999.

Fitbit Versa Lite features

In terms of features on the Fitbit Versa Lite, it includes most of the fitness and smart features available on the original Fitbit Versa. The Fitbit Versa Lite accommodates automatic activity, heart rate, and sleep tracking support. It comes with over 15-goal-based exercise modes, support for notification and apps and is clad in a simple one button, lightweight, and swimproof design. Fitbit has also included a SpO2 sensor in the smartwatch which helps track new health indicators such as sleep apnoea as well as track changes in blood oxygen. Fitbit claims that the Versa Lite will last four days on a single charge.

In terms of specifications, the Versa Lite features a 1.34-inch screen with 300×300 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 3. It packs an accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, optical heart rate monitor, and ambient light sensor and weighs 38 grams.

Fitbit Inspire, Fitbit Inspire HR features

The Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR feature a swim-proof design with a greyscale OLED touch screen display. Both the health trackers come with up to 5 days of battery life, on-screen dashboard, notifications support, all-day activity tracking, female health tracking, sleep tracking, all-day calorie burn tracking, and more. Moreover, the Fitbit Inspire HR comes with over 15 goal-based exercise modes, guided breathing sessions, heart-rate tracking, and cardio fitness level tracking.

Fitbit Ace 2 features

Ace 2 is a kid-focused fitness tracker from Fitbit featuring a swim-proof design and a bumper for added protection. It includes animated clock faces, motivating challenges to keep kids moving, and colors avatars. Fitbit states that parents will have to create a Fitbit family account in order to set up Ace 2 with their child’s account and stay updated with their kid’s activities.
