Honor is set to launch the View 20, world’s first punch-hole camera phone, on 29th January in India. The phone has a 48-megapixel primary sensor and would be launched in India for a price tag of ₹40,000.

The device will be sold through the e-commerce website, Amazon and Honor’s own e-store HiHonor. Pre-bookings for the Honor View 20 will start from January 15.

The smart was announced at Honor’s Artology event in Hong-Kong in December 2018.

According to the company, the device comes with 8 world’s first technologies that include 1.4Gbps cat.21 modem.

The device will come with world’s first punch hole camera display which has been achieved by a complex 18-layer technology stack that carefully incorporates the camera in the screen and expands the display to all sides in order to minimize the bezels, according to the claims made by the company at the time of the phone’s unveiling.

The device also supports AI features and graphics processing power enabled by the dual-ISP and the dual-NPU which comes with Huawei’s own Kirin 980 processor.

The company is offering Honor Sport Bluetooth earphone to the customers who make pre-bookings for the phone. This offer can be availed on Amazon and on the HiHonor store by buying a ₹1000 coupon that can later be redeemed.

The phone comes with 6.4-inch punch hole IPS LCD display with 1080*2310 resolution and runs on MagicUI 2 based on Android 9.0 Oreo. It is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The device has a dual-camera module at the back with 48-megapixel primary sensor and a  ToF secondary sensor. At the front, the phone houses a25-megapixel selfie shooter.

The phone is backed up by 4000 mAh battery with a USB type-C port for fast charging support.
