Honor Band 4’s successor Honor Band 5 has been launched. The smart wearable band features 0.95 inch color OLED display with 120×240 pixel resolution. The screen display shows texts from SMS,WeChat and QQ.
The band design includes silicon strap with three color option, midnight blue, coral powder and meteorite black. The core of the tracker is black in color. It is made water resistant up to 50m and features 10 sport modes such as stroke recognition for swimming. It is also supported by NFC based mobile payment option and is powered by 100 mAh battery which can last for approx. 14 days.
The major highlight of the band includes its SpO2 sensor to track blood oxygen level for its end-users. This feature would be useful for the people to monitor heart rate & oxygen level who travel or live in areas of higher altitude and to those suffering from health condition.
The device is set to be on sale from July 29 in china with no official announcement of its launch price. It is expected to launch in India next month.
