Huawei Nova 4e

Huawei has officially launched Nova 4e in China. The Chines tech giant released the smartphone at an event on Thursday in China. The phone has been launched as an addition to the company’s mid-range smartphones and comes with features such as double-curved glass body, rear fingerprint sensor, and a 6.15-inch screen. The Huawei Nova 4e also packs a triple-rear camera module at the back and a 32-megapixel front shooter. Huawei has also introduced the Nova 4e in the Malaysian market.

The 4GB/128GB variant of Huawei Nova 4e has been priced at  CNY 1,999 (roughly ₹21,000), while the 6GB/128GB variant is priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly ₹24,000). Huawei notes that the Nova 4e will be offered in Garland Blue, Pearl White, and Magic Night Black colors.

The phone will be available for pre-bookings in China starting from today, however, the phone will officially start selling from March 21. Surprisingly, the phone will be released in Malaysia before China and the consumers in the country will be able to buy it beginning March 16. There is no word about the smartphone’s release in other markets, including India.

The Nova 4e comes with a 6.15-inch full-HD+ (1080×2312 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 415ppi. It runs Android 9.0 Pie with ENUI 9.0.1 on top. It is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor, coupled with 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The storage on the device can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.

On the imaging front, the device comes with a triple-rear camera setup compromising of a 24-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 24-megapixel front shooter with an f/2.0 lens.

Among other specifications, the Huawei Nova 4e packs a 3,340mAh battery and offers Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 4G VoLTE connectivity options.
