Chinese technology giant Huawei announced on Monday that its ‘Watch GT Active’ smartwatch is now avialable in India for Rs 15,990. It is available in orange and green colours and the smartwatch further features a 1.39-inch AMOLED HD touch screen display and is capable of monitoring heart rate, sleep and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.

Moreover, it is compatible with both Android as well as iOS. The watch runs Huawei’s own LiteOS. The company had announced the new model of ‘Watch GT’ smartwatch alongside the P30 line-up at its Paris event back in March 2019. Along with a one-year warranty, the Huawei ‘Watch GT Active’ has been made available exclusively on Flipkart.

Huawei’s Watch GT has particularly strong battery life with around a month’s use from a single charge, but it won’t give you lots of functionality like you’d find on devices such as the Huawei Watch 2. Using a self-learning algorithm and innovative sensors, the smartwatch also comes with a Triathlon mode that could allow users to record the entire triathlon, including the transition time. The Huawei Watch GT Active also features TruSleep 2.0 feature for improved sleep monitoring and TruSeen 3.0 for more accurate heart-rate monitoring.
