Intel has announced its new 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Iris Xe graphics for Google Chromebooks. It would also provide a faster performance and better graphics.

The new 11th Gen processors which is also known as Tiger Lake was launched earlier this month. Intel said that Tiger Lake has been designed to be “the world’s best processor for thin and light laptops”.

The processor would deliver 2.7x faster content creation, 20% faster office productivity and 2x faster gaming and streaming in real-world workflows over competitive products.

Intel technology evangelist Marcus Yam said that Intel engineers their silicon to excel in performance at the widest variety of use cases, workloads and form factors. It works even in Chrome OS devices. Chromebooks have now came to use as because in these days, working and learning is done from home.

Tiger Lake would load pages 28% faster in case of gaming and would have 2.7-times faster graphics. The 11th Gen processors would also allow users to import, batch edit and export photos 23% faster in Adobe Lightroom and can also decrease video production time with 54% faster importing and exporting videos in Kinemaster.

Intel also promised better system responsiveness and better Chrome tab launching. Over the last five years, the processors of Intel have powered around 57 million Chrome OS devices, accounting for around 90% Chrome OS devices.

A blog stated that since Chrome OS has entered its second decade, Intel remains steadfast to provide real-world performance which is critical than ever where users demand more from machines in the today’s fast growing telework and virtual learning environments.

Intel also made its debut in a new platform brand known as Intel Evo which is based on 11th Gen Core Processor. Intel Evo has also encompassed Intel’s Project Athena.
