After numerous news, and rumors about the launch of the smartphone, Lenovo has finally made an official statement that on 22 July in China, it will be coming up with the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone.

On its Weibo account, company has shared a new teaser poster which tells the audience that Lenovo Legion would be the first smartphone of the generation which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset.

Dubbed as ASUS ROG Phone 3, ASUS will also be soon launching their next-generation gaming smartphone after the launch of Lenovo Legion. In India, the launch will take place on July 22, whereas in China the launch will done a day later.

Talking about the specifications of the Lenovo smartphone, it has been claimed that the phone will come with a 6.67-inch screen of AMOLED  with support for Full HD+ screen resolution and 144 HZ refresh rate.

For the memory configuration, it is very much expected that the smartphone will come packed with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB  of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will come with a pop-up side-mounted front-facing camera, which will be of 20-megapixel.

64-megapixel primary sensor as well as a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens will be featured on the backside of the device. The phone will be operating on  the Android 10 OS with the company’s own Legion UI on top and will pack 5,000mAh battery which will support for 90W fast charging technology.

The phone will be arriving in the market with the most powerful speaker of the industry, dual liquid cooling system, dual X-axis linear motor etc.  The smartphone’s render has surfaced online recently, where it can be seen that company is referring to the device as the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone Pro.

It is yet to be seen that the two models of Lenovo Legion — a Pro and a non-Pro variant will be launched.
