LG has now established itself as one of the most tough competitor at the technology market. In one of their recent blogpost, they revealed some details about starting their new Explorer project along with a video teaser regarding the dual screen “Wing” smartphone. They said that the announcement would be done on 14th September at 10.00 (EDT) through the YouTube channel and Facebook page of LG Mobile. LG has stated that the Explorer Project will focus more on finding new usabilities and innovative designs for smartphone.

Detailed descriptions are still unknown about the “Wing” smartphone of LG but a report from ET News in the month of May revealed a few details about the smartphone. It said that the phone will have a dual screen design where the secondary screen would turn behind the main display. A few video clips were also leaked where it showed the plans of LG regarding the utilisation of the dual screen setup for different uses.

It is expected that the phone would be launched first at South Korea and it will be priced at around $1000. Though the specifications of the smartphone is not revealed yet by LG, sources say that it will feature a 6.8-inch primary display and a 4-inch secondary display along with a triple camera setup of around 64MP. The phone might get powered either by Snapdragon 765 or Snapdragon 768G and will also support 5G network.
