LG V-series phones are known for their superior camera quality and audio output. The South Korean company took things a step further with their 2018 flagship model V40 ThinQ, but the phone never made it to the Indian market. However, according to new reports, LG V-40 ThinQ might be coming to India.

According to GizmoChina LG will bring the V-40 ThinQ to the Indian market by the end of this month. The device is said to be exclusively available to Amazon. The phone is also said to be available to offline markets via leading retailers. The website suggests that the LG V-40 ThinQ might come with a price tag of ₹45,000 in India.

The smartphone sports a glass sandwich design with Gorilla Glass protection for both the touch screen and the back panel. The device will be available in Aurora Black, Platinum Grey, Moroccan Blue, and Carmine Red color options. However, the report does not mention which variant will make it to the Indian market.

The LG V-40 ThinQ has a 6.4-inch P-OLED QHD+ display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the phone houses dual front-facing cameras with an 8-megapixel standard lens(f/1.9) with 80-degree field of view and a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens(f/2.2) with a 90-degree field of view. The cameras come with Google lens integration.

At the back of the phone, there is a triple-camera module with a standard 12 MP sensor with f/1.5 aperture, 16 MP wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture and 12 MP telephoto lens with f/2.2 aperture. The phone comes with AI integration which helps the device and offers AI-stabilisation with multi-frame HDR technique. It also has LG’s  Boombox Speaker which offers great audio output.

The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with LG’s custom skin on top and is fueled by 3300 mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 support.
