LG Velvet has been launched in India with LG Wing smartphone. LG Velvet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC instead of Snapdragon 765G found at the global version. It has triple camera setup at the rear side that comes with 48-megapixel main lens. The smartphone comes with IP68-rated build which is MIL-STD-810G certified. The LG Velvet Dual Screen accessory bundle is also available which ships with an extra screen like LG G8X ThinQ.

LG Velvet comes packed with Android 10 and has a 6.8-inch full-HD+ Cinema FullVision POLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:5:9 and pixel density of 395ppi. The Dual Screen has an additional 6.8-inch full-HD+ Cinema FullVision POLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:5:9.

The Indian version is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and has 6GB RAM with 128GB storage capacity which can be further expanded up to 2TB with a microSD card.

There is a triple camera setup at the rear side that has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 lens, PDAF and field of view of 79-degree. There is an 8-megapixel sensor with wide-angle f/2.2 lens and field of view of 120-degree. There is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 lens and 81-degree field of view at the front side for selfies. It also features Steady Cam and ASMR recording.

The phone has a massive 4,300mAh battery with support of Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+. The smartphone measures around 167.2×74.1×7.9mm and around 180 grams in weight. There is also an under-screen fingerprint sensor. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, NFC.
