A fast processor is an important part of a smartphone. It helps the phone to work smoothly. After the announcement of Snapdragon 732G by Qualcomm which will power the smartphones available at a mid-range segment, MediaTek has recently launched the Helio G95 processor which has gone through a lot of improvements compared to its predecessor.

The Helio G95 is an extended and improved version compared to Helio G90 and G90T. Helio G95 will have a high boost speed on the GPU and the ARM Mali-G76 MC4 can now operate at under 900MHz compared to the previous versions that were operating at 800MHz. MediaTek has also claimed that the GPU benchmark scores has now increased up to 8% and the CPU benchmark scores have increased up to 5%.

Apart from all this, the G95 will be based on a 12nm process with 2x Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05Ghz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores which is complemented with the ARM Mali G76 3EEMC4 GPU. There will be 10GB of LPDDR4X RAM clocked up at 2133MHz. The SoC will easily support configurations of 64MP single camera or a 24MP plus 16MP dual camera with pixel-binning support, AI facial detection and 240fps slo-mo. The chip will improve the dual wake-up word support which will allow users to listen to more than one trigger word. The chip will also support Cat-12 4G LTE modem and the 3X CA 4X4 MIMO technology. It will feature the MediaTek HyperEngine game technology, dual wi-fi connection, boasting of game-centric features like networking engine, call and data concurrency, picture quality engine, resource management engine and a rapid response engine.
