This week experienced several smartphone launches as OEMs(Original Equipment Manufacturers) revealed 5G-enabled smartphones for the Indian market, although 5G is yet to be rolled out by network providers. Starting from Xiaomi Mi 11X series to Samsung M42 5G here’s a list of smartphone launches of the week.

Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro, Mi 11 Ultra arrived in India

Xiaomi revealed the Mi 11X series-Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro in India. Mi 11X is powered by Snapdragon 870 5G SoC and features a 120Hz E4 AMOLED panel. 48MP triple-camera setup, and a 4,520mAh battery with fast charging. On the other hand, Mi 11X Pro is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC and sports a 108MP triple-camera setup at the rear. Apart from this, Mi 11X Pro has similar specs as the younger sibling. 

Xiaomi also revealed the Mi 11 Ultra, which draws power from a Snapdragon 888 SoC and features a 120Hz curved AMOLED panel, a 50MP triple-camera setup at the rear, along a secondary AMOLED display, and packs a 5,000mAh battery.

Pocket-friendly Moto G20 launched in Europe

Motorola unveiled Moto G20 in the European markets. The device is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T700 SoC. It has a 90Hz IPS LCD panel and a quad-camera setup at the rear. The primary rear camera is a 48MP sensor. It carries a 5,000mAh battery. It starts from EUR 149(approximately Rs. 13,510) and the sale date is yet to be revealed by the company.

iQoo re-entered the Indian market with iQoo 7, iQoo 7 Legend

iQoo released iQoo7 and iQoo 7 Legend Edition in India. iQoo 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 870 5G SoC, while the iQoo 7 Legend Edition is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. Both the smartphones feature a 120Hz AMOLED display and a 48MP triple-camera setup at the rear. Both the variants are offered with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. iQ00 7 series starts from Rs. 31,990 in India.

Oppo A53s 5G is the most affordable 5G phone in India

Oppo unveiled Oppo A53s 5G starting from Rs. 14,990. The smartphone is currently India’s most affordable 5G-enabled smartphone. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and features an IPS LCD panel. At the rear, it sports a 13MP triple-camera setup and carries a 5,000mAh battery.

Redmi K40 Gaming Edition debuted in China

Xiaomi has unveiled a gaming version of Redmi K40- Redmi K40 Gaming Edition in China. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The display is a 120Hz AMOLED panel and sports a 64MP triple-camera setup at the rear. The device comes with advanced vapor chamber LiquidCool Technology for thermal management and features shoulder buttons, which can be used as triggers while gaming. The device packs a 5,065mAh battery. It starts from CNY 1,999 (Rs. 23,000).

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G with SD 750G released in India

Samsung introduced Galaxy M42 5G in India. This is the first 5G-enabled phone in the M series. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC. It features a Super AMOLED display unit and a 48MP quad-camera setup at the rear. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It starts from Rs. 21,999 in India.

Vivo V21 5G launched with 44MP OIS selfie camera

Vivo unveiled Vivo V21 5G in India. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC and features a 90Hz AMOLED display. It has a 44MP selfie snapper that comes with OIS. At the rear, it sports a 64MP triple-camera setup. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery and starts from Rs. 29,990 in India.
