Microsoft has launched the new surface laptop which is small and affordable. Microsoft has also made new updates to Surface Pro X with new app experiences, improved performance and Platinum finish. The company has also launched many other new Surface and Microsoft accessories.
The Surface Laptop Go is priced at $549.99 in US. It has a 12.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen display, precision trackpad and full-size keyboard with 1.3mm key travel.
The laptop comes with three metal finishes – Ice Blue, Sandstone and Platinum. Selected few models have a Fingerprint Power Button with One Touch sign-in via Windows Hello. Users can get access to One Drive Personal Vault Files by One Touch sign-in.
The laptop is powered by Intel’s 10th Gen i5 Quad-Core processor with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The laptop has 13 hours of battery life and fast charging.
The laptop has a built-in 720p HD camera and studio mics. It has a Omnisonic Speakers and Dolby Audio. There are USB A and USB C ports, an audio jack and Surface connector.
The Surface Pro X has a Microsoft SQ 2 processor and Platinum finish. The configurations start at $1499.99. There are three new colours for Signature Keyboard – Platinum, Ice Blue and Poppy Red with built-in storage and wireless charging for Surface Slim Pen.
The company has expanded supported for running x64 apps with x64 emulation that would start rolling out later this year. Visual Studio code has been updated to run natively for developers. It also has a Gigabit LTE in terms of connectivity.
