A tipster recently said that Motorola Capri Plus has received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification and has hinted that the phone might launch soon in India. A Motorola phone has been spotted at the certification site having the model number XT2129-2 and it is the same like the Motorola Capri Plus.
Previously, Moto G30 also appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification site with the same model number and has stated that Moto G30 will be the official name of Motorola Capri Plus. The smartphone is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2021. The BIS certification of Motorola Capri Plus has been tipped by tipster Mukul Sharma. This has confirmed that the smartphone might launch soon in India but it is not clear if it will release as Motorola Moto G30 or with another name and it might be a budget offering.
Motorola Capri Plus or Motorola Moto G30 will be a dual-SIM smartphone with 90Hz display and HD+ resolution. It might be offered in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configurations. In terms of photos and videos, the smartphone might feature a 64-megapixel primary (OV64B) sensor, a 2-megapixel lens from OmniVision (ov02b1b) and 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor from Samsung (s5k3l6). The smartphone might feature a 13-megapixel camera at the front for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone might be powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC and could come with a 5,000mAh battery and support for 20W fast charging.
