The Nokia 8.1 is available for a discounted price in India for the first time. The device is available with a discount on Flipkart along with the Nokia 5.1. The Nokia 8.1 is available on Flipkart for a discounted price of ₹26,590. The Nokia 5.1, on the other hand, is available for a discounted price of ₹10,390 on Flipkart. Nokia has promised two years of major software updates and three years of security updates on both the devices.

The Nokia 5.1 is a budget-friendly smartphone with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio P18 processor. In terms of optics, the device houses a dual rear camera setup compromising of a 16-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. At the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen with 1080*2160 resolution.

The Nokia 5.1 like all its counterparts is an Android One smartphone and runs on Android 8.0 out of the box.

The phone is backed up by 2970mAH battery.

The Nokia 8.1 features a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels, 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits brightness. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 clocked at 2.2GHz with Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the phone houses dual camera at the back panel with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. The cameras with Optical Image Stabilisation support. At the front, the phone has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.

Nokia 8.1 runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and is fueled by 3500mAh battery with fast charging support.  On the connectivity front, the phone has dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack.
