Nokia and Flipkart have jointly announced six smart TVs in India on 6th October. The smart TVs will be available in the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days sale 2020. The smart TVs would be powered with Android 9.0 and Sound by Onkyo. This range would come with other variants in terms of screen size and would also markĀ  the entry of Nokia in mainstream screen sizes.

The price of the 32-inch variant will be Rs.12,999 and the 43-inch variant will be Rs.22,999 in HD ready and Full HD. In the Ultra HD segment, the 43-inch will be priced at Rs.28,999, 50-inch variant at Rs.33,999, 55-inch at Rs.39,999 and 65-inch at Rs.59,999.

The TVs are designed and made in India and a press release says that the TVs will be available in India from 15th October. The Ultra HD range will be released in UHD 3840×2160 + HDR10 resolution, the Full HD in FHD 1920×1080 and HD with HD 1366×768 resolution.

The UHD TVs have MaxBrite display with Micro Dimming and advanced contrast ratio of 5000:1. There is an advanced contrast ratio of 3000:1 in the 32-inch HD and 43-inch full HD variants. A popular audio company of Japan, Sound by Onkyo will offer 6D sound experience, dynamic amplification technology and minimum distortion.

The operation system of Android 9.0 has been powered by Quad Core processor and Quad Core Mali GPU. There is 2GB RAM and 6GB storage capacity in the UHD variant and 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage capacity in the other variants. The TVs have been equipped with Pronto Focal AI Engine which enables AI picture, sound and interaction. It has in-built Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection. For USB and HDMI connectivity, there are separate ports.

The Vice President of Private Brands at Flipkart, Dev Iyer said that as people are planning their festive season shopping, they want to ensure that they have a huge range to choose from specifications, variants and design.
