The powerful gaming smartphone Nubia Red Magic 3 is all set to hit the Indian smartphone market today at around 6:30 pm. The device packs an impressive Snapdragon 855 SoC, a big 5,000mAh battery, a big display and more. There have been two other gaming-centric smartphones launched in India until now, which are the ROG Phone from Asus and Black Shark 2.
Nubia Red Magic 3 Specs:
Red Magic 3 features a 6.65-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel which has a refresh rate of 90 Hz. However, there is no notch on the device so we will see flat bars on the top and bottom which will serve the purpose of housing a dual-speaker setup. There is also a 3.5 mm headphone jack which supports Dolby surround sound for more immersive gaming.
The phone supports a Snapdragon 855 chipset, and 6, 8, or even 12 GB of RAM variants. Internal storage starts from 128 GB and goes up to 256 GB. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint reader that sits beneath a single camera system. The phone even has an internal cooling fan to keep temperatures low and the CPU fast while gaming.
This camera is the Sony IMX586 sensor which can click 48 MP photos while on the front there is a 16 MP sensor. Red Magic 3 will come with a lightweight version of Android Pie and also with a massive 5,000 mAh battery which supports 27 W fast charging.
Nubia Red Magic 3 expected pricing in India:
The Nubia Red Magic 3 price in India is expected to be similar to that of China pricing. The 6GB RAM/64GB storage option is priced in China at CNY 2,899 (approximately Rs 29,200), while the 6GB/128GB storage variant cost CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs 32,300). There is also an 8GB RAM/128GB storage option, which is priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs 35,300). The company also launched a 12GB RAM/256GB storage option, which is selling in the country for Rs 4,299 (approximately Rs 43,400).
