OnePlus will reveal the OnePlus 8T on 14th October and the company is providing details about their upcoming smartphone. OnePlus stated that the 8T will come with a 120Hz 6.55-inch FHD+ display and a new teaser showed that the phone will also provide 65W Warp Charge fast charging.
A dual-cell charging system can be seen in the teaser with a charge meter which fills up instantly. OnePlus would introduce the 65W fast charging with 8T and the tech has been licensed from OPPO. The dual-cell charging system has put on hold from a very long time for OPPO smartphones and now since the company has launched Find X2 series with two 2130-mAh batteries and 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging system, the same tech might be seen in OnePlus 8T.
One Plus licensed the VOOC tech of OPPO a long time ago and they call it Dash Charge or Warp Charge. The 65W fast charging is now supported on OPPO and some Realme phones, the only difference is that OnePlus would switch directly to 65W Warp Charge. The Find X2 Pro gets charged from zero to 100% in just 38 minutes and there is a chance that OnePlus 8T might get to see the same features.
The OnePlus 8T will have a 48MP rear quad camera system, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage capacity and powered by Snapdragon 865. The launch event will start at 10AM ET on 14th October. More details regarding the specs of the smartphone will come out in the upcoming few days.
