A month after launching the Oppo A3s smartphone in India the company has taken to social media to announce a new variant of the smartphone. This new Oppo A3s variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The base variant of the phone with 16GB storage and 2GB RAM was launched at Rs 10,990.
Oppo took to Twitter to announce the new A3s variant. The tweet reads, “Guess what? Your favourite #OPPOA3s is now available in 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM also. Head on over to Flipkart and offline stores to get your very own A3s today! #DualPowerDualCamera.”
Oppo A3 specifications features
The Oppo A3s like most phones in 2018 include the full-screen display with a notch, dual rear cameras, and a large battery. The smartphone will have the same features as the base variant. A 6.2-inch HD+ ‘Super Full Screen’ display with a notch at the top, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset under the hood. The internal memory on both variants is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1. It has a dual-camera setup that is a combination of 13 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor. At the front for selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor with support for AI Beauty Technology 2.0.
The device is backed by a 4,230mAh battery and various features of connectivity options – dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. A key feature is the Music Party- lets multiple A3s users play music in sync that helps amplify the overall volume.
Oppo A3 Pricing and Availability
There is no mention of the cost of the phone on the website as the listing has not gone live yet. According to Gadgets360, this new variant of the Oppo A3s will be priced at Rs 13,990. Oppo A3s will be available in Dark Purple and Red colour variants.
