Oppo A94 5G has been launched in the European markets. The smartphone joins the Oppo A94 4G series launched last month. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC and features a quad-camera setup at the rear and 30W fast-charging technology.

Oppo A94 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G octa-core processor, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with Oppo’s custom ColorOS 11.1 on top.
Coming to the display, the device features a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90.8-percent screen-to-body ratio. The display has a 409ppi pixel density and 800 nits of peak brightness. An in-display fingerprint scanner is built into the display, which also carries a punch-hole for the front camera.
As for the cameras, the device sports a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP sensor with ultra-wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture, and two 2MP sensors with f/2.4 aperture for macro and black & white shots. Upfront, a 16MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture is placed under the punch-hole for selfies and video calls.
The mobile phone carries a 4,310mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast-charging technology. Connectivity options like 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device weighs 173 grams.
If we consider the specifications of the smartphone, it is basically a rebranded version of Oppo Reno 5Z 5G launched in Singapore last week. Oppo Reno 5Z 5G is powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset and features 48MP quad-camera at the rear, 30W fast-charging, and a 6.4-inch AMOLED display.
Oppo A94 5G Price
Oppo A94 5G will be offered in two color options- Fluid Black and Cosmo Blue. It is priced at EUR 359 (Rs. 32,000) for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It will hit the European markets from May 3. Oppo is yet to announce the international availability of the smartphone.

Considering the price range, Oppo A94 5G will rival Realme X50 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G. Realme X50 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 865 5G SoC, a 90Hz Super AMOLED display, a 64MP quad-camera, and fast charging. It is priced at Rs. 31,995. On the other hand, Oppo Reno 5 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000 5G SoC, a 90Hz Super AMOLED display, and carries a 4,350mAh battery with fast-charging support. It is priced at Rs. 32,290.
