Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo launched the Oppo F19 series- Oppo F19 Pro and Oppo F19 Pro+ in India on Monday. The Oppo F19 Pro+ comes with 5G connectivity and both the smartphones feature AMOLED displays with a quad-rear camera setup. Along with the F19 series, Oppo also revealed the Oppo Band Style, fitness wearable with heath features.

Oppo F19 Pro Specifications

Oppo F19 Pro is powered by MediaTek Helio P95 chipset, clocked at 2.2Ghz and paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The device runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with Color OS 11.1 on top.

OPPO F19 Pro

The smartphone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED with a 60Hz refresh rate, 800 nits of peak brightness, 92% DCI-P3 Colour Gamut 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. The display also supports the in-display fingerprint scanner and a hole-punch at the top left corner for the front camera.

The Oppo f19 Pro sports a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro lens. The rear camera unit is capable to record 4K videos at 30fps. Upfront, a 16MP selfie shooter is placed inside the hole-punch.

A 4,310mAh battery is offered, which supports 30W VOOC fast-charging.

The Oppo F19 Pro is offered in two color options- Fluid Black and Space Silver. The 8GB+128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 21,490 and the 8GB+256GB storage variant costs Rs 23,490. The smartphone will hit the market on March 17.

Considering the price point, it will compete with Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G and Samsung Galaxy f62. Going by the specs, both these mobile phones offer more value for money than Oppo f19 Pro and Mi 10i stays ahead of all because of 5G connectivity and Snapdragon 750G chipset.

Oppo F19 Pro+ Specifications

Oppo F19 Pro+, on the other hand, is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-core SoC, which supports 5G connectivity, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The device runs on Android 11 with custom ColorOS 11.1 on top.

OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G

The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels, 60Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display unit is a Gorilla Glass 5 with a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.

Oppo F19 Pro+ is offered with a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle macro shooter, a 2MP portrait sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. At the front, a 16MP sensor is placed in a hole-punch on the AMOLED panel. Exciting imaging features like AI Highlight Portrait Video, Focus Lock, Dual-View Video, AI Scene Enhancement 2.0, Dynamic Bokeh, and Night Plus are offered.

The device carries a 4,310mAh battery with 50W Flash Charge fast-charging technology.

The Oppo F19 Pro+ is offered in the same two color options as Oppo F19 Pro. The 8GB+128GB storage option costs Rs 25,990 and will go on sale from March 17.

Other 5G smartphones in this price range are OnePlus Nord, Realme X7 Pro 5G, and Xiaomi Mi 10T. These smartphones offer better processors and better battery, however, these smartphones are more expensive compared to Oppo F19 Pro+. The mid-range smartphone market in India is flooded with options and Oppo F19 Pro+ is a new addition.

OPPO Band Style

The Oppo Band Style features a 1.1-inch AMOLED display panel with 2.5D curved-glass protection and 100% DCI-P3 Colour Gamut. It features an SPO2 sensor for measuring blood oxygen level, an optical heart rate sensor to track the heart rate, a sleep tracking feature, and a three-axis accelerometer. It also offers work-out modes for tracking the performance of fitness enthusiasts.

Apart from health features, it notifies the user about the calls and messages and also can control the music while connected to a smartphone. It requires the HeyTap Health app to connect with smartphones through Bluetooth.

Oppo claims that the fitness band can fully charge in 1.5 hours and offer 12 days of back-up on a single charge.
