Oppo K1, which is one of the most affordable smartphones with an in-display fingerprint scanner, will go on sale in India for the first time today. The device was launched in India earlier this month and will be exclusively available through Flipkart. The device will come in Astral Blue and Piano Black color options. The highlights of the device include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 25-megapixel selfie camera, and a large 6.4-inch AMOLED display.
Oppo K1 price in India is set for ₹16,990 for the 4GB RAm/64GB storage model. Flipkart has listed no-cost EMI offer for the device for a duration of 3 or 6 months and is also bundling the Complete Mobile Protection plan at Rs. 499. Oppo K1 is also offering a buyback benefit, as per which, customers can avail a 90 percent cash back value of the Oppo K1, worth ₹15,300. The buyback plan can be availed at ₹1, however, it will only be valid if the customers upgrade to another Oppo smartphone purchased from Flipkart within 8 months of buying the Oppo K1.
In terms of specifications, The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 X 2340 resolution at 402 PPI density. Oppo K1 has a screen to body ratio of 19.5:9 and comes in with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, the phone comes in two variants in term of RAM and internal storage. Oppo K1 is available in a 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal variants. The device is fueled by 3600mAh battery.
At the camera front, the smartphone has a dual camera setup at the back with a 16MP primary camera(f/1.7) coupled with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, Oppo K1 houses a 25-megapixel selfie shooter(f/2.0). Oppo K1 is capable of 4K video recording.
Connectivity options will include Wi-Fi i 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE, and GLONASS.
